ALEX DE BRABANT

Photographer Alex de Brabant was born in Montreal, Canada. A self-taught artist, he has specialised in portraiture & still life work.

Over the last decade, Alex has portrayed creatives such as Olafur Eliasson, Natalie Portman, Valentino, Viggo Mortensen and Mark Ronson for publications including Art in America, Interview Magazine, The Guardian and The Talks.

Since 2010, he has shifted from commissions to focus on his own work. He is currently working on a project which aims to bring awareness to the way human beings conceive our relationship to our shared natural world and to one another.

In 2012, Alex opened his first studio in Berlin, where he continues to work and live.
